Formed in 2005 by Managing Director Paul Hollingworth, HDL started out as a design consultancy. Since then the company has grown in the scale and scope of the products and services we offer.

Operating from our new 12,000 sq. ft facility located in Stockport, HDL is an engineering company with strengths in mechanical, design, electrical, pneumatics, software, and process engineering.

We also offer a range of engineering products and services to customers which include, compressed air, vacuum systems, CNC machining of precision parts as well as hydrogen consultancy.

HDL have come a long way since 2005 and now employ over 30 people, including armed forces veterans which we are immensely proud of.

We are also fully ISO9001 certified (including 3 years of consecutive no non-conformances), members of the Made in Britain organisation and full supporters of The Armed Forces Covenant.
